the swine flu

one important aspect about these pandemics is that they come in waves each progressively worse than the previous one ... then they dissipate suddenly. I imagine a world where everyone one has to wear those surgical masks for a little while. The wearing of masks will probably never happen in the States or Europe because everyone is so vain.
